A wonderful approximation of a "vrai" Paris bistro. Well worth checking out. The food is authentic and extremely well prepared. The decor is very well done. The only downside is that the service is American style rather than French professional. Also, delays in bringing the bread, coffee served before the dessert and so forth detract a bit from the experience but this is minor and many probably feel very much at home.

Charming. Wonderful, reliable bistro-style fare. Well-priced wine list. And real French staff, all of whom are adorable.

Recent dining experience at Petit Robert very disappointing. While the food-when it finally arrived-was good, the service was poor. Waited an hour for our meals, and received no explanation from our waiter. A consolation free dessert was offered, but by then we were late for a concert, and had to leave. Not the first time for lost meals at Petit Robert..& would not recommend it if on a tight schedule.
