Chans's has hit the nail on catering to American tastes with Chinese cuisine. Never had a dish there I haven't liked. The portions are huge and delicious. The management staff at the Lombard location are top notch and really make a customer feel welcomed. Watch the sodium...

Northbrook - Consistence food and service. Willing to make local favorites. Try the Pin Rice Soup - not on the menu, but is my favorite. Always fantastic food and nice wait help. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Can be noisey if crowded.
