Sad to report that as of last November of 2012, Phao closed for good. It was simply one of the best, in the Hamptons.

Great lively place, wonderful food with authentic Thai dishes and some Thai fusion original creations!!! Great live music but always at the right time and volume.. Salsa on Fridays, Unplugged rock on Thursdays, DJ late on Saturdays... Great knowledgeable staff and attention to details.. all around a great place to eat and enjoy live acoustic music.

Very tasty Thai food, in a small, cozy but noisy two rooms. Beware that at 11pm they turn the restaurant into a club with DJ & start putting the chairs on the tables, whether you're still eating or not!!...

This restaurant and its companion (Indian) make a nice stop wile walking Sag Harbor's streets. Price is a little high for Thai food, but we cound some unusual -- and good -- dishes.
