The food was hit and miss. We tried the lamb meatball antipasto and it was mealy with too much bread crumb filler. The beat salad was wonderful with a good combination of flavors and textures. The pasta was described with cherry tomatoes, white wine and garlic, over rustic kale. What we got was a red sauce marinara over slightly bitter and chewy greens. We also has a side of brocolini and it was very bitter with chewy stalks.
How can this be a 26 without reviews. This is the first? Well, 7 dishes, 2 good, none to die for. Wine list was excellent. All dishes except for one had something wrong, but the biggest problem was over cooked pasta. Aldente or just cook legumes. In the end I would not go back unless I lived in Chicago. Then I might try to find something else good. Service was excellent, very friendly. Nice room.
