Very good Italian, but somewhat overpriced for what you get. Nice, quiet setting and spot on service. Pierangelo (owner and chef) is a very gracious host.
A charming brick wall interior and intimate setting. Pierangelo has the best fine Italian food on Greenwich Avenue. He is a chef that still takes great pride in cooking every dish and will sometimes wander out to say hello to his customers. He has a great choice of wines by the glass. On 10/31/11 the stuffed pepper appetizer and fresh branzino entree (taken off the bone tableside) were sublime. Perfect for a casual but romantic dinner.
Nice date spot. Horrifically overpriced. Very small, yet will gladly try to accommodate walk-ins. Very attentive staff.
One of the better restaurants in Greenwich. Expensive but worth it.
This restaurant brings "Lago di Como" cuisine to Greenwich, from the stuffed fried zucchini flowers (seasonal!) down to the house-made Limoncello liqueur. Excellent entrees, fish deboned at the table, hand made pastas. I remain puzzled why it has not been discovered. One answer might be that other local Italian restaurants have much broader wine lists. But that is a small price to pay for feeling like you are sitting by the lake.
