I've been a regular at Pierre's for many years and I have to say that there is no better French restaurant in the entire Hamptons area ! The ambiance is great, attentive service, food is yummy and the wine list extensive with lots of affordable choices. Not to mention the owner, Pierre, who is always paying attention to details and a great host. Go for it!
Delicious lunch, great sandwiches and french onion soup. Everything was fresh and well made...an overall pleasant experience.
Went on a winter weekend night. Wasn't crowed and the service was passable as if the waiter didn't care if we were there or not. Food is sort of French. Went because someone recommended that we have the saut?ed Chilean Sea Bass which was excellent although on the small side. Not enough to bring home to the cat. When we left we were each handed a bag with a pastry for breakfast. Don't know if they do that in the summer. Nice touch.
Inflated priced bistro with passable food where the owner & staff only greet & chat with those they deem important & attractive enough for this Hamptons scene. The kitchen "forgets" key ingredients like the fish in the bouillabaise & overcharges on the check (double for the wine) & then sneers at the customer. A very bad vibe!!
QUAINT & CHARMING ALONG WITH A FRENCH-A-FIED MENU WOULD APPEAL TO THOSE LOOKING FOR A CHANGE OF MENU IN THE HAMPTONS. CERTAINLY WORTH A VISIT & EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELLVES.
