Small bistro on Cambridge. Very good. Food was excellent-- I had the escargot and a veal steak. Both were buttery with garlic and herbs. Yum! Only dis was the veal was very tough. But flavorful. I really enjoyed this French place.
Its small so I suggest you call for a reservation.
Left Bank in Boston....this place is a real deal authentic French brasserie with all the classics--the onion soup itself is flavorful, besides the excellent cheese topping it; classic pate with great offering of condiements, and all the Parisien specialities you would expect. Close your eyes and you're in Paris. Now for those who said what's with the clown theme, Pierrot was the great French clown, pictured in some of the art posters! Voila!
Words fail to describe the delight this place offers
The Best Restaurant in Boston, MA is: Pierrot Bistrot Francais Two curls of butter and a fresh warm roll is the perfect start. Fricassee de Champignons $6.95. Saute Mushrooms in garlic butter and parsley bordelaise. This is a scrumptious dish of assorted mushrooms with fiddle head ferns tucked in between. I try to guess the name of every single mushroom before I bite into it.
Tastes like Paris. Feels like Paris. Occasional misses, but love this off the radar, authentic French pocket in Boston.
