  • Just like many Chicago restaurants, this one has an old time, friendly feel to it. If you are in Chicago you must try deep dish pizza. To me, they were all the same. The pizza was good but it needed to be hotter. Overall I would go back.

  • We had lunch at the location on State St. Excellent Italian Beef sandwich and cheese pizza. Service top notch. Very friendly staff. We will go back tomorrow for dinner.

  • A great neighborhood pizza joint, you'll find a ton of locals every night. The bartenders are great - they make you feel like one of the locals around the bar. Clearly a clientele that has been going there for years, and for good reason : the food is great. The thin crust pizza is really good, as is the rest of the Italian menu items. A very comfortable place.. Every time I'm in town I make sure I stop for lunch, dinner, or a late night meal

    Very long wait for nothing to special pizza. We waited a long time for a table, even longer for our food. The waitress seemed to be miserable. I think their reputation exceeds them a bit, and Im not being snooty about Chicago pizza because I am a new Yorker. I love the stuffed crust pizzas in Chicago and thought we would try a thin crust on our visit this time. The crust was quite yummy but I feel I do a better job myself at home.Just OK for me…

  • A friend who attends the Chicago Art Institute took us to this place. It was so good, we returned two nights later. Pizanos has without question the best thin crust pizza I have ever eaten- it was simply amazing. The decor is typical pizza pub style, but it was casual and cozy. The waitstaff was excellent. This casual pizza joint was my favorite dining experience during our stay in Chicago.
