With arguably Hartford's best views on the water, the menu here is inventive and wine list extensive. It is at the top of an office tower, and a "corporate" feeling pervades. Staff attentive, but tends to hover. Be warned- hard to find!
First off....this is a high class resatuarant. Great ambiance and first class service. This set up a high expectation for the food and boy were we dissapointed. The food was good....but not great and definately not worth the price tag. Presentation was phenomonal and great care goes into the preparation for sure... but at the end of the day the food needs to deliver and it does not deliver here. All 4 of us came to same conclusion.
This restaurant is way overrated. It does not come close to a 28. We were there for dinner, and we waited an hour between courses. The food was good but not even close to Per Se, Eleven Madison Park or Max Downtown.
Go for lunch, maybe it is better.
A unique experience for a town that needs more flavor and more digs like this one. If in Hartford, a choice doesn't need to take much time, this is your place for the date!
A superb dining experience.
