Mediocre Italian fare. If you don't have high culinary expectations, it's probably fine. Pricey for what it is. Nice atmosphere. Good service.
I get the feeling that PV has built up a strong, loyal and local clientele who easily accept what they get and don't have high culinary expectations. This is standard fare, not great, not bad. Could do with reinventing itself away from the formulaic "Italian for US palate" which is not really Italian of course. I have had decent veal and shocking rubber shrimp. The pleasant owners really do care however and are to be commended.
Incredible lunchtime specials. You can't afford NOT to eat here!
A pleasant place to unwind after a day in the office. Predictably good Italian cuisine from Ponte Vecchio accompanied by a bit of vino always fits the bill.
They used to have a $5 lunch which was a great bargin. now without that it just one of many Italian places
