This is now a tiny chain. There is also one further south just across from Exit 13 off of I-95. This diner has the same excellent food, variety and cleanliness. In fact cleanliness is one of the things they pride themselves on. The Darien Diner has easier access, though.

The cleanest diner I have ever been to. I have never brought anyone to this diner that wasn't impressed with every aspect of it!

They get my vote for the best diner in the area. There is a terrific weekend breakfast menu with some unusual offerings, such as ginger pancakes and almond-crusted french toast, and their diner standards are well made. The friendly and efficient staff know the regulars well, and treat newcomers equally well. Not many places which are open 24/7 are worth a visit, but this is an exception. Better coffee and accepting credit cards would be a plus.
