One of my favorite restaurants in the bay area and clearly the best by far in or around Lafayette. I could eat the short ribs or the swordfish on a daily basis. The calamari appetizer is also a regular treat. Postino's is just a lovely atmosphere for a relaxing and delicious meal or for a special celebration.

Consistently the BEST in the East Bay. Ambience, food and service are always top notch, and the service is competent and attentive. They change the menu frequently yet still maintain the old standby dishes. A destination restaurant!!!

The best risotto I've ever had was during a sexy, incredible dinner at Postino. It feels clandestine & mysterious with its cave-like atmosphere. Very Italian and a killer patio!!!
