Food is amazing, but they can really rush you here. The space can also be a little cramped.

OK. I admit we wound up here because Neptune, two doors down, was the usual zoo. But we were jonesing for oysters and this place had an Oyster menu so...

We were glad we did. We shared a lobster roll which was loaded with very fresh tasting, succulent meat on a very fresh tasting roll. Can't see how it could have been better. We also had two dozen of the freshest possible tasting local oysters. Server was sweet and knowledgeable.

    Avoid this restaurant!
Worst lobster we have ever had.
In Boston to visit family July 2011. Since we would be eating with family wife and I decided to treat ourselves to special lunch. Had lobster roll ($24) & half lobster in shell ($22). The lobster was old and and tasted gross, not sweet. Could not eat our expensive lunch. Complained to waiter and he said it was fresh, just came from tank. He lied to us. Cannot cook, serve cold in 10 min.!

  • Food was incredible, the seabass cooked in lemon with the risotto one of the best meal I have had in a long time. The seabass was cooked to perfection with a slight crust on on one side
The fresh pasta with the Lobster was delicious. Reasonable priced wine. Great service. Would return again.

Five us had dinner on a Friday night. Restaurant was quiet. We had excellent, attentive service. Mussels appetizer was outstanding as were veal, clam, and pasta (gnocci) entrees. Flavors were good, not overdone. Pasta was perfectly cooked. Decor is "rustic" and a bit tacky, but fun. Bottom line, very good, interesting food and lots of choices that don't have red sauce.
