amazing burger (only shows on the bar menu, so you have to ask for it), parsnip veloute soup & best filet mignon in the city
Great meal with a wonderful atmosphere. Best chicken ever featuring spaetzle and sun chokes. Good wine list with some excellent Oregon Pinot's. Worth a try.
Overall, a positive dining experience. The waiter was well-versed and helpful. However, there may have been a disconnect in cooperation betweem the back end (kitchen) and front end staff. A simple side dish exchange (because of dietary restrictions) was disallowed by the kitchen. Though our waiter was kind enough to "work around" this issue. Food was nicely prepared, great flavor and reasonably priced.
Hadn't been in years. Service is AAAAA. But really noisy the night we went - - 2 large groups of loud business party people.
The food was hit or miss. In a 2008 review I wrote, "Braised pork belly appetizer is still being dreamed about and the best ever goat cheesecake berry dessert. On the recent visit, the pork belly entree was just barely "OK." But, apps & desserts were good (but not as good as in 2008). (Beautiful!! platings.)
very comfortable atmosphere, great menu, great service.
