Hits the sweet spot for a weeknight dinner! Great unpretentious food that delicious in a fresh way, rather than a saucy goopy fried way. At a decent price, in a toasty ambience, the welcoming service rounds out the meal perfectly.

Plain decor doesn't detract from the fact that we had really good food on our two visits here 4 months apart. Service was quick and attentive each time, and the food came in the order requested. Steaks today done perfectly (2 in our party had the t-bone) and pork chops were tender and not overdone. All 3 of us ordered gin gimlets OTR which were just right. Desserts: carrot cake a big winner, winter special fruit tart gets 8/10.

Looks great, plus they sent several invitations since we are new to the neighborhood. Well, all food was pretty basic and the steaks that we ordered medium rare were burnt and well done. The waitress acted like it was not true. Will not go back, just bad cooking!
