Great ambiance, simple menu yet excellet quality, unusually large list of wines by the glass, again, reasonably priced. Obviously, an in-spot for the beautiful people right now, and rather crowded as a recent arrival on the scene, but gives off very positive vibes as a fun place to go and see and meet friends and people.

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT!! I come here at least once a week. The best item is Ding's Chicken Sandwich. It is amazing every time and their fries are great too! I would recommend to everyone!!

The Pride of the Hillstone Group. R & D stands for Research & Development. They have a limited menu but everything is great & served with a smile. They also have the only Bar on Montana that is usually star studded...

Like all Hillstone concepts, everything is consistent and dependable. Service isn't as good as other Hillstone venues, however

Love their burger and their steak. Also some great specials. They don't take reservations, so go early or plan to wait.

A great neighborhood spot frequented by loyal Santa Monica locals, R+D is always hopping, no matter what the time of day. The menu isn't large, but it has something for everyone. Dishes are well-prepared and attractively presented, and the service is knowledgeable and attentive. Add an excellent and well-priced wine list featuring boutique labels, and you've got a success story.
