Well Prepared New American Cuisine in a very cozy setting
I make this pledge. It will always be current; no less than 6 months. We went last month.
An old review? What if the chef changed 3 or 4 times? Speaking of 'chef' this has one of the best. I'll jump in: I had tuna tartare; great and not too salty like other places. I had duck; great. I had profiteroles; great and the pastry was fresh, not frozen. Great wine even by the glass. Ambience? It's a Hamptons home; all windows and red banquettes.
This is the absolute worst place Ive ever eaten in Overpriced TV dinners Nxt day my girlfriend and I were violently Ill from food poisoning This place basically ruined our memorial day wknd Instead of being @ the beach we wr in bed all day
Red Bar is a lovely restaurant with a well organized staff. The decor is nice but the lighting was a bit too low when reading the menu. The service was superb, my glass of water never stayed empty and our waiter made sure we were happy. The food was delicious, from the salad, entree, and straight to the dessert. It was the perfect place at the perfect time (before the summer craziness) and I would definitely recommend Red Bar to anyone.
Love this restaurant, but like it off season when it is less crowded and the staff does not rush you.
