I've never had very good service here and tonight was no exception. If it weren't for the maitre d, we might still be sitting there. We ordered a chicken kabob and a skirt steak, neither of which were memorable. On other visits, I've shared the smaller plates and they are a much better bet.
Sometimes it is empty inside but the food is great. Comes as "small plates" but fills you up quickly. The hummus and baba ganoush is really good. On the weekends there is music and dancing. Very extensive martini list - something for everyone!
Not the Fez we grew up with in college but still retains some of the old character and charm. Kept the old location (which may not be a good thing) even though it went yuppie.
Its hard to focus on the food when belly dancers are performing, but when you do, the classical Mediterrean choices don't disappoint.
Good meals, equally good small plates
