Cavour has generally served excellent food in a wonderful QUIET environment. Sadly, on our last two visits, fish dishes were overcooked and there were one or two loutish diners speaking too loudly.
We had he pleasure of dining at the Granduca on New Year's Eve 2011-2012. Each plate was fairly priced at 120USD Per Guest wine al a carte. The food was absolutely lovely in it's presentation, texture and quality. Because I have dined with such restaurants as the Fat Duck , Quai Seasons, Michelin Star , Belle Poque in England. I can say that the Cavour is keeping up with the elegance , style and cutting edge cuisine that my family & I appreciate
excellent service with delicious food and fantastic experience. Very quaint and romantic.
"The white-glove service may be a bit precious, but the food is very well made. Not the most creative, but not same old same old either"
"Ristorante Cavour offers sophisticated Italian cuisine in an elegant atmosphere. The waiters are solicitous, but unobtrusive; the restaurant is intimate in size but supremely comfortable with its over-stuffed couches; but, above all, the chef is a marvel"""
