Service was both attentive and amusing. Unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say about our dining experience. Every single dish was overcooked and bland and considering that, overpriced. The anticipation was high considering past reviews. The reality was a terrible disappointment. Now I understand why they were half empty on a beautiful September Saturday evening.

Srvce V.poor. Mussels & mozzarella w/ peppers were V.good The stuffed veal chop was cooked yet stuffing was cool, while the petto do pollo came to table w/o mozzarella in it. Srvce @ surrnd tables was great, ours ? Owners never walked around as previous reviews stated. Reviews made me question validity. After reading reviews, drove a distance hoping for more, didn't get it.

One could hardly be faulted for believing they had been transported to Italy as evidenced by the romantic setting, genuine Italian waiters as well as the food quality and presentation. Each course seemed to surpass its predecessor with Mama's cheesecake supplying the grand finale. I was surprised to find its food rating lower than my previous favorite, now relegated to second choice. Going back and bringing friends 2 nites later.

One of my favorite restaurants. Atmosphere is wonderful. Perfect place for private parties. Staff is always going overboard to help. Couldn't recommend it more.
