Ristorante Luce is one of the hottest Italian restaurants that Hamden has to offer. Being family owned and operated is the reason Ristorante Luce is so phenomenal. At Ristorante Luce you will receive first class service, outstanding regional italian cuisine, delicious fish and certified Angus beef entrees. Food is almost very good. Decor is drab. Service was slow. Had the four course prefix. We were there for over two hours. Every once in a great while we come here and the story is always the same. Never saw any supervision the whole seating. Our waitperson played it like it was 'business as usual'.

Good Italian food served by waiters who seem to think they and their offerings are the best. They're wrong on both counts.

Our go-to neighborhood Italian eatery. Menu is well priced. Specials are pricey. Wine list could be more interesting.
