Nice place. Gordon Ramsay wouldn't be over the moon, but we laypeople enjoyed it just fine. The waitresses changed out early on but the new one didn't miss a beat - I started to get nervous about a pending drink order but the new waitress picked it up seamlessly without prompting. One small situation with our reservation at the beginning, but admittedly we were also about 2 mins late. They do serve martinis there, too, which are delicious.
Definitely one of the best in the north end. its a bit tight inside but the food is delectable.
A classic place to eat dinner in the North End. The food is good and the prices are reasonable for what you get.
LOVE this place for the freshness of each dish. Everything's made to order. You have to order the cannoli because they make it right at your table.. and they taste right--not like the sweet ones you get @ Mike's. There's a restaurant week menu as well as some special summer prices @ their other site villafrancescaboston.com and they offer valet parking
Tables a little too close, but Italian the way Italian was meant to be.
