Some of the specials are delicious, but most dishes are middle-of-the-road. Worth going to now and again, but nothing to write home about. A good thorough cleaning of the interior would be in order. One gets the sense that this was probably a great restaurant in north NJ once upon a time, but it seems to have lost some of its luster.
I went here after reading the reviews about how good this place was. Frankly I was not impressed at all with this place. The valet parking was difficult to find. The waiter was rude when I asked about the wine selection and they took forever just to take our drink orders. For an Italian Restaurant I expected a much better wine selection. The décor in this restaurant really needs an upgrade, the carpet on the walls made me feel like I was in a re
Our favorite restaurant!! We are never disappointed..Food is hot, delicious, and authentic Italian.(We are first generation Italian.) The owners and chef are hands on and very hospitable to patrons. The prices are in-line. We had an allergy concern and the chef actually came out of the kitchen to talk to us and tell us what was in a dish and how it was prepared before we ordered. Give it a try.You won't be disappointed.Make the trip to Edgewater.
We have been going here for 30 years,Never disappointed! Great food, Great staff,Great Chef.
Totally Underrated!!!! I'm an amateur food critic who moved to Edgewater and found this GEM. Fresh Mozarella flown from Italy!!! One of the best pork chops that I have ever eaten. Very ineteresting charismatic charecters as owners and the chef. It is even worth the trip from the City. Looks like everydboy is going for the specials. Chef came out and recommended that I get hos giant signature meatball next time - nice!
