We have eaten dinner at the Rooster Tail a few times and have not gone back after the last meal a few months ago.
The 'food' is for those who don't like to eat but tell what they got. I like a rare juicy cut of tender beef for instance. At the RT they had tough steak.
On the positive side the staff is polite and attentive and the inn is beautiful and some tables have a pleasant window view.
The nearby Hopkins Inn has the RT beat.
