  • When I lived away from CT, I missed two pizzas: Roseland's and Modern. I have been eating at Roseland since my mom and aunt used to bring me there every Friday night in the 80s. The pizza has a perfect thin crust with just the right amount of a real tomato sauce and cheese. Their salads are fresh yet simple. While their entrees and appetizers are consistently delicious, the best part may be the bread that accompanies them!

    Some of the best pizza in the area. Small restaurant that is sometimes crowded. Everything is good here. Cash only.

    The world best pizza. Try their white pie or the shrimp casio pie...A local gem known by word of mouth only.
