I have no idea how we missed Rouge in South Norwalk.An incredibly pleasant escape from the noisy restaurants in the area the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.They take reservations(and honor them on time)which is a pleasant alternative to some of the more trendy places.Wines were creative and well priced, food was delicious.We stuck with small plates, salads and pizza and were not disappointed.We definitely will return, bar is friendly and warm.

Rouge is an excellent winebar for entertaining guests and family. I always enjoy an evening of fine wine and good company at Rouge. It creates a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The wine list is amazing here, but the food doesn't seem to be as amazing. It's just plain okay, nothing amazing. The menu looks really beautiful and inspiring, but you come out really let down! :(
