Recommendation from concierge who must have been taking bribes to send people here. Clam Chowder was good and creamy, but included onion skins. Wife's tuna ordered m/rare, came out almost raw, sent back for "little" more cooking and returned m/Well, pressed with an iron and dry. My 2 pound lobster was a crime - boiled, cooled, then reheated under a broiler and served with a margarine sauce. NO BUTTER. It was rubbery - Red Lobster does better.
Fresh fish, well-prepared - not especially adventurous, but really fresh and interesting. What sets this restaurant apart was the expert but entirely unpretentious service, and a large room with enough space between tables to have your own conversation without also listening in to the neighbors. A truly perfect apot to enjoy a relaxed seafood dinner.
Outstanding and authentic afternoon tea service. And inexpensive to boot. Plus the views. Absolutely brilliant.
best summertime destination, dining outside with fabulous views
Pricey waterfront restaurant that gives you what you pay for. The food is great, service exceptional, all in a beautiful (if a bit stuffy) waterfront locale.
