We decided to celebrate our anniversary at Rudy & Paco's. It is a good idea to make a reservation if you want to eat here. The ambiance is special because of the small size of the restaurant giving it a warm feeling. Our waiter was attentive and gave us excellent service. Our entrees were fresh seafood that arrived at our table at the correct temperature. Rudy has a very nice wine menu that is reasonably priced. The tres leches was not good

Excited to get there from all we heard drinks where ordered. After consuming almost half of my cocktail I find a FLY in my drink. Making my waiter aware of how bothered I am he aplolgized and brought another drink. The owner came over after 10 or 15 minutes (what took so long). He told me and I quote " Ah you know you open the door they come in and say hello it happens". Maybe you can be calm about a FLY in your drink but not me. After that it co

We love this restaurant and visit every time we are in Galveston. Paco is the most welcoming host and makes everyone feel special. The filet mignon with crabmeat is delicious and you don't want to miss the plantain wrapped fish with raspberry chipotle sauce. It is wonderful as is the ceviche and lobster bisque. A must when you visit Galveston. The restaurant is small so make reservations early. Great place!
