My mum flew in from the UK last week and we were advised to go here for a good piece of steak and it being 'the BEST steakhouse around Costa Mesa'. Thoroughly disappointed. The food was great, but service and ambiance were poor. Slow to seat us, slow to serve us, made to feel very unimportant all night and left waiting for servers. Such a shame because America has some amazing Steakhouses. Food was great... service very poor for a Saturday night

Very good steaks, very good service, very nice decor at the Water Street location.

Yes, very expensive and more of a special occasion restaurant. I'm a seafood eater and Ruth's Chris hands down has the best lobster and tuna I have ever eaten! So non meat eaters, don't be discouraged, they have something for you!
