I suspect it's popular with the old-timers due to nostalgia. I was unimpressed. Tip: It gets crazy crowded on the weekends for dinner. Fun Fact: It was mentioned on "The Wire.")

Solid family Italian joint in Little Italy. Best salad (Bookmaker) with fantastic dressing and garlic bread to die for. Cheap, good wine list.
