Went to Sakaya on sat eve. With a reservation for 6 people for 7 pm was seated right away the chef for the hibachi was ether new or just very bad he wasn't good at his craft as he dropped the utensils three or four times tried to have a conversation with us but his English was so poor no one could figure out what he was saying the food at best was very poor and very greasy the service was none existent and the manager after we told him about the

The best sushi ever! I have been going there for 10 years 2 times a week. Amazing fresh food and many varieties. LARGE PORTIONS with reasonable prices. I am a very picky eater but I have not ordered anything from there I didn't like!

Sakaya consistently offers the best sushi on Long Island (if not all of NY!) with service that is equal to none. Fantastic bar menu (all kinds of innovative drinks), fantastic fresh & generously cut sushi with special offerings of unique fish fresh from Japan, a wait staff that is friendly, professional, courteous & always recognizes customers & greets them enthusiastically, & a contemporary, elegantly designed dining room. Simply the best!
