Awesome place. Feng is supposed to be better but hands down this is the best.
Extremely nice people. Great place but if you also want a fun experience try out Ninja New York. But Sakimura is REALLY GOOD. I would go every day if I could.

As a Japanese person, this was a surprisingly great find in the greater Hartford area. The staff at Sakimura make a genuine effort to get to know you and your preferences. The atmosphere is one of fun and comraderie among regular, devoted customers. The sushi chef trained under a Japanese master and is sensitive and knowledgable about Japanese traditions. The food is of consistently high quality and makes a Japanese person feel at home.

Best sushi around! Absolutley one of our favorite restaurants, me and my girlfriend visit almost every weekend. Must try!

Best sushi I've ever had!!! So many fine, fresh choices of sushi rolls, sashimi, and even cooked entrees. OMG Try Sakimura!!!

Myself and a group of friends had a get together, and ate tonight in the Hibachi Room at Sakimura. A few of us tried the Mind-Eraser and a few other signature sushi rolls. Not only the freshest tasting fish I've ever had, the presentation and service were out of this world. The hibachi dinner got us soup, salad, rice, noodles, vegetables, and our choice of meat, fish, or combo in addition. We had a blast, and cannot recommend Sakimura enough!
