Quite literally salt and fat is what you'll be dining on here - forget to take your blood pressure medication? Their concept is uncommon for Queens, though I don't agree that it's worth a trip out of your way as other reviewers have. It was a decent experience overall, so I'd say if you enjoy ordering several small courses and don't mind OD-ing on salt & fat, then Salt & Fat it is.
Worth a trip from Manhattan or even Little Neck. American comfort food with an Asian twist and more than reasonable prices. Some dishes better than others. The scallops and fried chicken are great. The popcorn is tasty -- but beware of the salt. The only thing lacking here are the desserts. Just a few ice cream-based sweets that are not very inspiring.
IF YOU JUST KNOW RESTAURANTS IN MANHATTAN, WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IS GOING TO THIS RESTAURANTS. MOST OF ALL, THIS RESTAURANT SERVES GREAT DISHES CHEAP. THE PRICE OF DISHES IS FROM 9 BUCKS TO 19 BUCKS. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? CHEF OF THIS RESTAURANTS IS A KOREAN AMERICAN. FOR THIS REASON, YOU CAN EAT KOREAN AND AMERICAN FUSION DISHES IN HERE. DON'T MISS IT!H
great inonovative plates to share....bacon popcorn to die for..bring back crack and cheese
YOu can eat really well in this little place on a well traficed street. Once inside you are really well taken care of and eat really interesting food, which in Manhattan would cost a hell of alot more. Has a really nice neighborhood feel and you leave with both your arms and legs. I go back again and again. Puts a smile on your face.
