Been away from Houston for around 10 years, came back and one of the first places we ate was at Sam's. After 2 bites, I was hooked. This place has some of the best burgers. They're big, and flavorful. The fries are great. The shakes are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable. This has turned into my favorite burger place in Houston, and I've tried a lot of others, most a lot more expensive, but not half as good.

I'm not at all sure what Patty was expecting. But Sam's is everything you'd hope for from a burger joint: fast service, hot juicy burgers in many varieties and great shakes. I don't live nearby but also hear that the breakfast is excellent. My Jalapeno cheeseburger was awesome and my coworkers All-Day burger looked incredible too (possibly to excess). Yes, grease is a component to fries and burgers, so some should stick to the health food.

The worst food in all of Houston!!! The hamburgers tasted and looked like dog food. Pressed "flower" shaped patties... frozen - not fresh. Fries were greasy and the milk shakes were nothing special! Honestly my family of four were all sick after eating here...NEVER Again!
