Outstanding LI Japanese Restaurant for Food and Service. Modest Decor. Sashimi on par with the finest in NYC for freshness. Steak house quality Beef T. Always order Shrimp Tempura. Specialty dish would be Eel with source over rice. Just like Tokyo's lunch special. Pricing is 1/2 of the NYC fine Japanese. Great selections for various specialty rolls. Try various Katsu dishes. Must have. Will recommend for true food lovers in LI.

New owners are amazing, place is clean and the food is super fresh and delicious. My favorite is the HOUSE SPECIAL ROLL. I have to say it’s the best sushi i have ever eaten. This restaurant is truly the best Japanese/sushi on Long Island. The waitresses in kimono outfits give the place authentic Japanese feel. Service is great and friendly and the price is very reasonable, i can’t wait to go back. Definitely thumbs up a place you must try! : )

One of the best sushi restaurants on LI. The restaurant is under new management since Jan 2011 and the new owner have really improved the overall quality of food and service.
I had the sushi delux, spider crab roll, house special roll, and strawberry roll, all were delish. The fish tasted fresh, the portions were big , and the presentation was beautiful. I would definitely come back here again soon.Published May 10, 2012 -

Good local sushi joint and always fresh.
Nothing too crazy where it would compare to Koto or Aji 53 but it is by no means a place to pass by. Especially for the local choices it comes out on top.
Give it a try it's actually pretty good.
