I agree: surprise, serendipity, innovative, etc. My dishes were spicy. The pork belly over rahman noodles was a little hot with a taste that sticks with you. The 3 soups also very interesting & spicy. The shrimp & grits had very good shrimp but was less successful than some dishes I had in Savanah. The wine list has some interesting cheap wines. A little noisy but bearable. I especially liked the Jimmie Hendrix head on the wall. Service good.
A big group of friends went here for restaurant week in the winter. They accomodated us very well and the food was great. Service was a little lacking but it was restaurant week and the place was crowded for a Tuesday night.
You can't go wrong here. Consistently good food across the menu and a modest but well selected list of wines
Always a culinary surprise that never disappoints.
Really very good, if somewhat standard fare. Same as the lunch sac company.
