I might go to some expensive sushi places for experimentation or a big event, but I always come back to Seiyo. They offer a fantastic lunch, take out, dinner. I have never been disappointed. Plus, the owner is friendly, approachable, will make conversation, and is an expert at suggesting beer and wines in the adjoining wine shop. They also stock a limited number of higher proof items there, and they pick and choose unique items that taste great.

Always fantastic...ask owner for wine recommendation. Sushi both traditional and innovative wonderful. Staff eager to please.

Walked in not knowing what to expect ... and the sushi is top notch! Fantastically fresh fish - amazing sushi for a town not known for raw fish!

my favorite sushi in Boston. perfectly positioned between cheap takeout and the ridiculously expensive sushi places that have been popping up lately. Also, half of the place is a good wine store.

The food here is great. I eat here at least once or twice a week for lunch. The sushi is fresh and the waitresses are very friendly and helpful. Also, there's a cute wine shop attached to the restaurant with some very unique and affordable wines.
