Reasonably-priced comfortable neighborhood Lebanese restaurant. Serves the usual standbyes-- mezza dishes, grilled meats, and various vegetarian options. All nicely prepared, and tasty. The lack of kibbeh nayyeh (tartare) is a disappointment. Not much for atmosphere, so bring your friends.
A favorite middle-eastern place in the city, and BYOB. A bit of a wait on the weekends. Combo appetizer plate is so good - stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, baba ghannouj, and my favorite hummus anywhere. The beef and lamb kabobs are great- they always cook them just to your liking. Chicken fattoush salad with toasted pita is another go-to. The standard rice is even good here - fluffy and buttery.
Great schwarma sandwich with lots of goodies.
