This is a unique tavern/restaurant with great charm and history. The tavern area provides a pub as well as a dinner menu. Tavern selection of appetizers is varied, very tasty, and expensive. The Inn has a great assortment of draft beers and reasonably prices wines. Service is excellent. Jeans are clothing de jour.
Service was fine. Food was good but very heavy. Rolls before dinner were as hard a rocks. Atmosphere was okay. It might be nicer in the winter with a fire. Cuisine was classic. If you are looking for innovative food look elsewhere. Overall for me just okay.
A quaint, local Inn with fabulous out of the ordinary food. Buffalo, emu, and alligater are some of the options from which to choose. They also have scallops and chicken and beef. Everything is prepared with care and imagination. Nice to visit the bar for a drink and then sit be the fire for dinner. Romantic and delicious at one table. Yumm.
Romanic, charming and distinctive food. The ba, dining area and decor a ehance e fod aits preparation. Althouh hy dd not kicku ut, we cold have stayed ad moved in-lovely.
18th century stone inn dripping with atmosphere. If you'r on a budget eat in the bar room which is a real local with atmosphere.
