I stopped in for lunch, not too crowded at about 12:30 pm on a weekday, easy lot parking. Service was somewhat slow considering I ordered just a pizza. The pizza itself was OK, typical Napoletana shortcomings - soggy crust, not enough toppings, bland toppings. Nothing special about it, and not worth going out of your way for. I'm not sure where the best pizza in Vegas is, but I'm pretty sure it's not at Settebello.
Never think I can eat the whole pizza but surprise myself every time. If only the service equaled the quality of the pizza this place would be perfect.
Worth the trek to Henderson.
People get orgasmic in talking about this pizzeria, but I've found it more pedestrian. The crust was charred too much leaving bitter burnt tastes. The top of the pizza was soggy. The tomato sauce bland. They might use the right flour (Italian double zero) but it's also what you do with it.
The pizza was very good, but the place was very casual, not what I was expecting. On retrospect, I think the food was better than I realized at the time.
