If you decide to go, I would recommend skipping the seafood fra diavlo, the stuffed flounder and any expectation of friendly, professional service.

Yes, Shagwon's ship has long sailed, but it still has the salty character of Montauk. A seven course tasting menu? No... but a Montauk dining experience nonetheless. if you desire FRESH caught fish prepared simple as it should be with a steaming bowl of clam chowder have a simple lunch or dinner and check out the locals at the bar. They've been here as long as Shagwongs. Lots of seafaring history
