This is our go-to place when craving a good burger. The way they cook the burgers and their special sauce make the whole burger. Compared to five guys, I would say Shake Shack blows them away. The main downside is the location. The parking lot is too small and poorly located traffic wise. It is hard to get into on nice days, busy hours and weekends. Definitely worth the effort for both the burgers and the concretes. The shakes are just ok.
Stopped cause it was the only place we saw that was OK, tho in winter it's all inside. There was NO line at 2pm, we looked thru the oversized menu, as we showed we were newbies the mgr. came out with a hand sized menu and reccommended their "shack sauce" as it is what put them on the map. The sauce is no big wup. Given a beeper & way too long a wait. Beef way way too salty, lacking taste, and small burg oozing grease Shake barely so-so. Lunch $27!
Lame, typical, crowded. Basically okay, totally unhealthy no matter what you order. Compare it to any fast food.
This is what high-end burgers and shakes should be. Great service too! Weekly featured ice cream toppings are house made and not to be missed.
Don't get what all the hype is about. I think the burgers are greasy and low on taste. They seem smaller than the average burger at a premium price. I also tried the hot dog. I liked it better than the burger...it was very good. My kids had the shakes and gave them a big thumbs up. The line is out the door! No healthy options here....this place will blow your diet for the entire week!
