Food was really really good. Decor is a distraction. They use antique looking table cloths/doylies (spelling?) and non-matching china. There were either plastic plants or vines painted on the wall -- cant remember. But it felt like small dining room decor, plates etc came from several yard sale/estate sales. Simple plain decor-- white table cloths and simple plates etc. would have allowed the food to stand out a little better.
A real treat. This must have been how the royalty dined in 18th century Europe. Intimate setting, an interactive chef/owner who really knows his stuff, endless courses, and consistently creative and tasty dishes will define your dinner experience. Of course you will pay for it, but it is worth every penny, especially for those extra special occasions.
Amazingly cozy ambience under christmas tree lights on the ceiling. Personal interaction with the chef makes this an amazing evening.
Very private, intimate and quiet. I felt as though I was royalty!
Okay, go just to say you've gone. It's ok. Not the best thing in town, but you have to go. It's a rite of passage for foodies.
