Move over Penny's! I'd be here a lot more often if it was easier to park. The one minor complaint I have is that they don't serve hot tea in large pots. Food, decor were awesome!
Wow, what a disappointment for dinner after a very nice lunch a few months back. Noisy to the point of pain, inattentive service, fouled orders that were not then corrected on the check and bland soups and noodles for high prices. What went wrong between my happy bento box and the $15 bowl of rice with three scrawny shrimp and two gristly pieces of short rib? Beware all ye enter here!
Amazing noodles
The tonkotu will satisfy any ramen craving. Wonderful sake selection.
Bring 3 friends so you get a table, otherwise you'll be stuck at long community table or dreadful kitchen counter staring at stacks of plates. Very noisy. No reservations. Loves were the bigeye tuna, enoki/bacon bincho, and gyoza. Curry fritters just OK. Noodle menu better than takashi's stand at macy's, shoyu ramen was decent. Great ice cream / macaroons. Lousy wines, cocktails. Sake list better. Good value, but I'm not in a rush to return.
