This is our second time at this location and it was just as perfect as the first time 5 years ago. I am glad to see that they are able to maintain their excellent standards in every department. The food was incredible and the waiters were extremely attentive. We had the 48 oz. Porterhouse which comes with a vegetable medley. Outstanding! We will be back, hopefully before another 5 years go by.
What a terrible restaurant! An Italian tourist forgot his wallet at his hotel and when it came time to pay his $208.00 bill, he offered to leave his cellphone as a guarantee that he would return to pay. Smith & Wollensky called the police and the poor man spent the night in jail. I will never set foot in that establishment again. Better to go to Spark's where they appreciate Italian customers...if you know what I mean!!!
We went during restaurant week and the food was delicious and the service was awesome. The bread that is served is the best of any restaurant I have ever had, after that we both had the Clam chowder which was very good followed by the Filet which was amazing.
Smith & Wollensky is my absolute favorite steakhouse and this location in Boston's famous Castle is stellar! The staff makes you feel like an honored guest at an exclusive event - very special and welcome. The menu has evolved over the years too. I'm continually impressed with new steak presentations and the addition of so many quality seafood options. Dinner here is truly an extraordinary experience!
Do not waist your money here! This steak house cannot be compared to Abes or Capital Grill. It's more like a wannabe with cheaper food and lousy service. We were the only ones there on a Friday night at 7pm! Have fun sitting in a huge castle by yourselves! They have more wine than food. In fact, it takes you a while to find the menu in all of the wine lists.
