The food is awesome and worth the wait.
This "Q" is BB. Which means bad n' bitching.
Outstanding brisket, whether sliced or chopped. Price may seem high but value off the charts. It ranks with the best. Candied jalapenos are excellent. I liked the cole slaw very much, but a word of warning: no mayo in this dish.
This is my neighborhood BBQ spot and the food is very good. The chopped brisket sandwich is my favorite, and the pulled pork a close second. The sides are all very good, from the corn bread to the brisket chili. There is little in the way of decor, just cramped communal tables and a large blackboard with the menu next to the order counter. Beware of lines that can stretch out the door, and workers with little patience.
Stand in line. Place your order. Wait for your number to be called. Eat. Undo your pants. Sigh with pleasure.
