The Sol Toro Tequila Grill is located in the Mohegan Sun Casino. Sol Toro is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants around. The rustic cantina atmosphere will enhance your dinning experience. Sol Toro has rustic carts strolling through the restaurant, offering delicious guacamole made fresh right at your table. The Margarita's are also made fresh and are outstanding. We had a reservation and waited less than 10 minutes to be seated.Megan was our server; fantastic, friendly, helpful & most importantly, efficient.The chips & salsa that are complimentary are so good; chips are served warm & the salsa is a nice change from the ordinary.Our dinners were all very good.I had the Carne Asada a la Tampiquena-amazing. The dinners came out in record time considering how packed it was. Affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Part of the Michael Jordan restaurant group. Would be nice if they stayed open later. Frustrating to find them closed up tight by 9:30! At least the food is better than at Margaritaville.

The food was great when it first opened; however, we have had some clunker meals in the recent past. We haven't gone back since Jan. 2010 for a birthday party. That meal was not good. They need to get back to the beginning and slow down. Their food could be great if they paid a little more attention to detail.

Boasting over 100 tequilas all on display at the large bar offers lots of conversation topics. Friendly bartenders will mix and remix until you're pleased. Food is tasty, if you order the right items. Fantastic happy hour specials, give me a $6 margarita, and some $2 apps. and I'm a happy girl. First place I've ever had not greasy chicken taquitos!
