Not sure what the other reviewers were expecting, but this is one of my favorite places. The food here is very good, even the non-seafood items like chicken teriyaki have received rave reviews from friends when we go here. The setting is of your typical New England seafood shack. The staff are nice and welcoming, and it sites right on the water. Come in the summer for the patio and outside bar. Expect a New England clam shack, and enjoy.
A family friendly dive on the water. Kids menu and crayons. Decent lobster pot pie special for $20. Service was fine. Salad had rotten lettuce. When I pointed it out to the manager, he took it off the tab. No green veggies whatsoever. Only veggie was corn on the cob. Not the place for a healthy meal. It's right off I-95. Beer & wine selection isn't good.
Service was excellent and very friendly. Your review is misleading. Outdoor dining was very pleasant in summer.
Go for the atmosphere, not the food. Fortunately, frying food makes anything taste good!
Food is fried and not very good. But it feels great to sit there in the summer and watch the boats go by. Worth the visit every year!
