Great restaurant, however, many of the dishes are simple variations on those found at Jamie Mammano's numerous other Boston restaurants. If he's going to have so many restaurants, at least prepare different food.
Food is terrific. Design is great. Staff is great. Our granddaughter is a Junior at BU and this has been part of our tradition twice or three times/year and it's always a treat. Between us all, we've eaten through the menu and everything is wonderful. Close your eyes and pick.....or just have them bring you dinner. You can't go wrong.
Italian 'style'. Expensive wine list. Pricey!
We knew Sorellina was going to be expensive but it was our anniversary so why not give it a try? I had Veal Saltimboca for my entree and I have to say that every single bite was amazing. Often time with good food your palate gets used to the taste and it goes from great to good. Every bite of my appetizer and entree was exquisite. The wait staff was very good without bothering us. A wonderful experience we will not soon forget.
From the moment you arrive you know that this is a great restaurant. As you deal with staff it becomes evident that these are smart, nice, well trained people who want you to have a terrific evening. I had tuna tartare to begin (particularly good) and rib eye steak.
