A welcoming atmosphere with warm and friendly staff. Candle lit tables and very cozy seating. Service is very quick but not rushed, varied menu choices that make you want to try them all! You are served chips that are to die for with a mouth watering salsa you can not get enough of! The portions are more than ample and the taste is superb. Once you have eaten here you will keep coming back for more. The cost of dinner for two is a value.

Southwest Cafe is great place to meet up with friends and share a pitcher of sangria. Take a table outside and don't skip out on the Mexican corn soup!

I have lived in both New Mexico and New York City and say with confidence that this chef is outstanding! The preparation and presentation is excellent. The use of spices is sophisticated. This is much more than "Tex-Mex" cooking. Go!

Not only is the cuisine exciting, unique and scrumptious, but the gracious owner Barbara Nevins makes going to Southwest Cafe a comfortable, feel-good event. This week we attended a tequila tasting dinner for which the talented chef paired 4 courses to high-end tequila. The courses were off the charts good, and we learned so much about what goes into a quality tequila (reminiscent of cognac but complements food like wine). Great catering, too

Not sure what Amy below means by YUCK! Ate there last nite and the potato gratin was to die for....so flavorful and rich but perfect. The skirt steak is always perfect and flavorful. The service is excellent consistently....their timing is just right Barbara Nevins is a Ridgefield neighbor and she treats every guest like she has known you for years. Always a favorite in our house.
